Kaillera is a godsend. If you're not familiar with it, check out the homepage. Kaillera basically plugs into a number of popular emulators including MAME, Kawaks, Gens, and more. Now, for free, you can play thousands of your favorite games online with whomever you like. I've been a big Street Fighter fan for years, and this is exactly what I've always dreamed of. I've also been dreaming about pop idol Jessica Simpson, but that's beside the point. The point is that Kaillera absolutely rocks for hermits like me who have no friends to play because they never go outside and hate meeting people.

Of course, everything has a downside. The downside to Kaillera is that every ADD-afflicted, spastic 12-year-old within three feet of a keyboard uses it too. To make it worse, there is no form of moderation or control in Kaillera chatrooms, and no way to look at IPs or ban troublemakers. Needless to say, this is like a license to act stupid, and since you can change your name at will, there are no consequences for doing so.

That's why I've started the Kaillera Hall of Shame, to document the extreme, the ridiculous few who love to ruin things for the rest of us.
