For a couple years, I worked as a computer salesman at a Circuit City in Chicagoland. It was a nice place to work, and the pay was all right. There was only one problem: I had to work with Jim Stawiarski.

This is Jim. Nicknamed "The Stackmaster", Jim was always the #1 salesman in the entire store, and in fact was pretty highly ranked nationwide. Since he worked in the computer department too, I was considered 'direct competition'. And Jim Stawiarski doesn't like competition.

Jim Stawiarski haunted me like a (greedy) ghost for 36 long months and stole my sales at every opportunity. Read more about the exciting adventures of Jim by clicking below. Start off with the Circuit City Survival Guide, which is sort of a crash course on what it's like to work at C.C. Then move on to the Quotes Page, the largest archive of Stawiarski wisdom on the Internet.
To crush his opponents (me), Jim developed a variety of evil selling tactics.

Jim would often bless us with words of wisdom. Sometimes, they would make sense.
